Tina Castano

In 2020 Tina moved to New York’s Southern Tier to work for Nexstar Media Group as one of their first dual-market VP/General Managers leading their television stations and digital assets in Binghamton and Elmira, New York.

In 2018, prior to her work with Nexstar, Tina returned to where her television career began at WLNE TV in Providence, RI when they offered her a leadership role as VP/General Manager.

Prior to re-joining WLNE-TV, Tina spent 10 years as Vice President/General Manager of WLWC-TV, the CW Network affiliate in Providence.

Tina currently resides in Binghamton, NY and in Portsmouth, Rhode Island with her husband John. Tina is the proud mother of Sebastian, Christian and Victoria and two-year old Rocky, a puppy she adopted in 2020 giving him love and a forever home! She is a native-born New Yorker and is proud to be of Spanish heritage.
