Workplace giving can be an easy and efficient way to make tax-deductible contributions to ACS through payroll deductions! Many companies will match funds for volunteer hours or employee donations. Learn if your company has a Corporate Giving Program or Foundation, workplace giving, or matching gift program. Your company’s HR department should be able to provide forms or know if a workplace giving program exists. If so, send in a matching form with your donation next time you donate to ACS.
Make your lifesaving gift go twice as far by getting a match from your company! Companies often concentrate their matching gifts on specific areas such as children, education, or health needs. ACS has several programs, in addition to core rescue and adoption programs, that may meet these criteria. The Veterinary Science Initiative is a national pilot program in humane education for secondary school students taught by science teachers in Wellsboro High School. The nationally unique, live-in, 12-week college internship program for students of pre-veterinary medicine and animal science takes place at both the East Smithfield and Wellsboro locations three times a year.
