Jack currently operates, with his son Jason, a farm to table restaurant in Sayre, PA that is all natural and Gluten Free. The majority of their ingredients are sourced from local farms within a 15 mile radius.
President and COO of #1 Gluten Free, a manufacturer of Gluten Free Flour and Mixes. They have a presence with the largest Gluten Free food manufacturers in the US, Canada and the Caribbean and are one of the first and largest companies in the market and acknowledged leader in product innovation. Currently building a new plant in Sayre, PA.
Jack is a graduate of Carlson School of Business, at the University of Minnesota, with an Executive MBA in International Business.
He is of 150 Certified Masters of Baking in North America and was one of the first so honored.
Founding board member of the Bread Baker’s Guild of America and arranged the management and training of the US team’s successful competition in the Coup du Monde international competition in Paris France.
Was recruited to salvage and rebuild a French yeast company which was struggling in the North American market and experiencing an annual loss of $2 million on sales of $600,000, to a $250 million company with net profits in excess of 10%.
Wrote a comprehensive management training manual for In-Store Supermarket Bakeries for Cornell University to use as part of their remote learning program.
30+ years’ experience in international business principally in Western Europe, the Caribbean, Canada and Mexico.
Conversant to fluent in Italian, Spanish, French, German and English. Have conducted business in each of these languages.
Married for 41 years to the former Carol Lynn Fisher. They have two sons, James and Jason and three grandchildren.
